Frequently Asked Questions

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN YOU AND A DAY OF PLANNER?

Most people are looking for a planner that is commonly referred as a  "Day of Coordinator."  In actuality, any experienced planner knows that you cannot magically appear the day of the event and pull all the details together.  There are many moving parts and variables, and a successfully executed event is due to all the pre-planning and preperation that takes place weeks, even months, beforehand.

WHY DO YOU REQUIRE AN INITIAL FACE TO FACE MEETING/VIRTUAL CONSULTATION BEFORE WE BOOK YOU?

Getting married is one of the most intimate and personal events in your life, and if you hired me, I will also be right there with you the day before and the day of your wedding, all in your personal space!  Therefore, it is so imperative that we're a compatible fit and you are comfortable with me so my presence can bring calm to a potentially overwhelming day.  It's especially important that you are confident with your decision in choosing me to be a part of your planning and event execution for one of the most significant moments of your life.

THERE ARE SPECIFIC THINGS I NEED HELP WITH THAT AREN'T LISTED IN YOUR SERVICES.  ARE YOU FLEXIBLE?

Absolutely! During the initial consultation, I'll ask you what are important tasks you like me to assist you with and I'll incorporate that in your personalized contract.

I NEED ASSISTANCE IN FULL SERVICE WEDDING PLANNING/WEDDING DESIGN.  DO YOU DO THAT TOO?

I do not specialize in those types of weddings so I will not the best person for those requests.  However, I have collaberated with AMAZING Wedding Designers who specialize in Full Service and/or Event design that I will happily recommend.   Just shoot me an email and I'll be glad to connect you with them.

HOW DO I KNOW YOU'RE LEGITIMATE?

I am a Certified Wedding Planner, and I own Business Liability Insurance, which most wedding venues require of their vendors.  I have excecuted 500+ weddings in my 18 year career thus far.  In the section of my Facebook page, any vendors that I have "liked" I have collaberated with and will be happy to give you a recommendation/reference.

WHY SHOULD I HIRE YOU?

Your wedding day should be one of the happiest moments of your life.  Within that short period of time, you want to find someone you can trust to be your time keeper, solution seeker, and partner to manage the logistics of your event so all you need to focus on the experience of bonding with your besties before you get ready and enjoying every moment of your celebration.  I am your go to gal to honor your specifications so you don't worry about it.

HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE & WHAT IS YOUR PAYMENT POLICY?

Month of services begin at $3,500 and partial planning rates begin at $4,500.  The base rate will go up depending on multiple factors, such as if the distance of specific location is more than 50 miles from where I live, how much additional work is needed past what I do, if additional planning assistants in addition to the 1 is needed, and the number of guests attending the wedding.  There is a retainer fee of $500 to confirm and reserve your date and final payment is due 5 business days before your event date.
