FAQ'S

How does your service work?

1) Request date and type of event,  2) book it, 3)  show up and enjoy!  Avoid the stress over planning, design, setup, and cleanup while still getting a customized and memorable celebration for your guests to remember!

What items are included in the standard setup?

Table decor setup, signage, table wear (ceramic china, glassware, silverware, serving utensils), linen napkins and tablecloths/runner, cushions, seasonal fresh flowers. Photos are for reference and although I will mimic as closely as possible, it may not be exact, as I am always finding ways to make it better and I buy whatever florals are in season.

 

What happens when it rains? What if I need to cancel after I book? 

If within 48 hours to your event date there is more than 30% chance of rain, you and I will make an executive decision to either reschedule the date or relocate to an indoor spot to your private residence.  If you need to cancel you event, you must let me know no later than 72 hours before your event date and I will offer one change of date and apply your deposit balance to the new date within 6 months of the calendar year.  If it is a permanent cancellation, your cancellation fee is 50% of your deposit, or $150, whichever is greater.

Timing: what if I would like to spend more than 2 hours enjoying the picnic?  What if I'm done earlier than 2 hours?

Please call/text me 30 minutes ahead of time to extend time or to let me know you plan on leaving earlier so I can come early to break down and clean up.

What sanitization measures are taken to ensure your product is clean and covid-safe?

Within 2 hours upon conclusion of every event, I launder and bleach all linen, clean, sterilize and plastic wrap all table wear and cushions. When I set up, I handle all food with safety gloves. I am ServSafe Manager certified via National Restaurant Association.

Is your business legitimate?

I have a business license with Santa Clara County, liability insurance, and am ServSafe Manager certified.

What if items from set up go missing?

I do take inventory so please don't take home any items besides leftover food! Per terms of agreement upon booking, for each item that is missing and not returned there is a $15 per item fee, bigger props like furniture and lawn games is $50. If you love something from the setup that you want, let me know and I will be happy to tell you where I purchased it so please don't take it! 

Why don't you offer alcohol with public picnics?

Most public parks do not allow open container alcohol.  If you bring your own, that is at your own discretion.  I do offer alcohol pouring and service in a private residence only.

What if I break or damage an item?

Accidents happens, so I allocate 2 pieces of broken items without any additional charges.  However, if more than 2 items are damaged, I will charge $15 per broken/damaged item thereafter, with bigger items such as furniture and lawn games at $50 each.

What is your deposit fee and payment schedule?

$300 to save the date at the time of booking, with final balance due 48 hours before event date.  You can pay me via Venmo, Zelle, or Paypal using beboldbeyouevents@gmail.com or my phone number which is 925.216.7605.

Can I customize/create my own theme and/or additional add ons other than what is offered?

Yes, depending on # of guests and details of theme, there is a starting $150 design and supplies fee, in addition to the other items you want to add on, such as balloon arches, backdrops, etc.  Let me know the size and scope of what you are envisioning and I'll be able to figure out an accurate price quote for you.

I will then respond with a pricing proposal and agreement of terms, and if you place a deposit, it means you have read and agreed to the agreement of terms listed and it is binding.  I will contact you 48 hours before your event to alert you of your final payment balance and confirm any final details, changes, requests.
